I started attending faith midway through my fourth-grade year.

What was one of your favorite memories?
My favorite memory from high school was playing in the state basketball tournament. The team placed second, but I still had an awesome time playing with my friends.
What is your thesis topic, and why did you choose it?
My thesis is on nuclear power and whether it is a viable option for the future. I chose it because I knew very little about it and was curious as to how nuclear power applications actually worked.
How has learning in a Christian environment at FCS positively affected your education?
The Christian environment has contributed to my learning by building my character and habits. The Christian people that I am surrounded by as I learn offer Christlike examples to look up to. In addition, I am free to learn, knowing that my teachers care for me and want what's best for me.

The workload might be large and seem monotonous at times, but you will see the worth of it eventually.
What are your plans after graduation?
I was awarded the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps-Marine Option Scholarship. This scholarship will be applied to my studies of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech. This scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and book stipends as well as specialized training to prepare me for a physically intensive, high-pressure career serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. Upon graduation from Virginia Tech, I will be commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant.
