Second grade
What activities were you involved in while you were a student at Faith Christian School?
I have been involved in basketball, volleyball, soccer, and archery and have been a member of several clubs including, Fides, Veritas Honor Society, SGA, Ministerium, LaMesa, Chocolate Milk Club, and I served as a Project Faith Student Manager.
What might some of your favorite memories be?
Some of my favorite memories include senior retreat – a great time to fellowship with friends that have become family and to dive into the Word. Also special was winning nationals for basketball freshman year and being the national runner-up senior year for volleyball.
What is your thesis topic and why did you choose it?
My thesis topic is the opioid crisis and how drug courts have significantly reduced the effects of the crisis. I decided on the opioid crisis because I wanted to explore something that I did not previously have an opinion about.
What do you feel have been some of the academic benefits of attending Faith Christian School?
I have learned great writing skills that will prepare me well for college, but I have also had to learn time management and study skills that will benefit me in the long run.
Has there been a teacher at FCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what might you say?
So many teachers and faculty members have impacted my life, but one specifically is Ms. Weeks. I would say thank you for taking me under your wing and giving me guidance and advice to bring me closer to God.
What are some things you would like to tell younger students as they continue their education at FCS?
I would tell my younger self to cling to God in everything and to always finish strong because it will pay off in the end.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I plan to attend Roanoke College and major in Political Science and minor in Communications.
