Meet the Newton Family, who are looking forward to connecting with the Faith Christian School community as their daughter, Everly, starts in Junior Kindergarten.
Tell us about your family! What kinds of activities or hobbies do you enjoy together?
We are a very active family and stay busy with sports year-round! We can often be found on the soccer field, at a swim meet, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Our favorite vacation spot is the beach, and we try to make this an annual trip! We also enjoy serving in our church, community, and spending time with family/friends.
How did you hear about our school?
We are both Roanoke natives and have known of Faith Christian School for years. We also have friends whose children attend and love it!
Was there anything in particular that influenced your decision to become a part of the FCS community?
Our decision was based on a combination of factors. As we learned more about the Classical Christian Education model, it became more evident why God was leading us to Faith Christian School. The focus on strong academics, teaching students to think and articulate well and see the world through a Biblical lens are all things we consider very important. It’s much more than an excellent education, it is the emphasis on developing the whole child and equipping them for life. The teachers and staff are truly invested in nurturing the heart and soul of each student. We are grateful to have a school community to partner with us!
What are you most excited about in beginning the school year as a part of the FCS family?
We are most excited about the community and getting to know other Faith Christian School families. We feel so welcome already and look forward to becoming more involved!
