Meet the Milburn Family, Josh, Megan, Freddie (JK), and Harry, who chose Faith Christian School because of the "way we learn, handle relationships, and develop a redemptive view of the world around us."
Tell us about your family! What kinds of activities or hobbies do you enjoy together?
Enjoying the natural world around us, traveling to experience new cultures and especially food, reading together, and spending time with family in North Carolina and Ohio.
How did you hear about our school?
We drive by Faith Christian School almost every day, and we have heard very positive feedback about the FCS community from friends at our church.
Was there anything in particular that influenced your decision to become a part of the FCS community?
Cross-generational engagement across the student body (recess together, no cell phones, kindergarten/senior buddies), the focus on encouraging curiosity and fostering critical thinking, and an ethos for learning that focuses on holistic personal growth.
What are you most excited about in beginning the school year as a part of the FCS family?
We are excited for Freddie to be surrounded by people who are humbly seeking to love one another and show the fruits of that love to the world around them - through the way they learn, handle relationships, and develop a redemptive view of the world around us.
