In what grade did you start attending Faith?

I started attending Faith Christian School in sixth grade.

What activities were you involved in while you were a student at Faith Christian School?

I was involved with quite a few clubs, including debate and Veritas, and occupied officer positions in SGA, La Mesa, and Ministerium. I was also a Project Faith Student Manager and student ambassador. In regards to sports, I was part of the Varsity Girls Soccer team and the Varsity archery segment. Some of my favorite extracurriculars were the arts, such as theatre and oil painting.

What might some of your favorite memories be?

Some of my favorite memories are the inside jokes and discussions from Mr. Virgin’s theology and apologetics class.

What is your thesis topic and why did you choose it?

My thesis topic is pharmaceutical drug pricing. Originally, I wanted to research juvenile delinquency, but I changed my topic in the middle of the summer after taking EMT courses. During training, I heard a paramedic make a comment on how ridiculous it was that ambulances did not carry EpiPens for people in anaphylactic shock because of the high cost to supply them. I found this issue more interesting and pressing, so I decided to start new research from scratch. I have never been more glad to start over on a project.

What is one thing you would like to tell younger students as they continue their education at FCS?

I would like to tell the younger students to appreciate the community they are in and the opportunities it provides along the way.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to attend Roanoke College and study medicine.
