Meet the Haynes Family, who are excited for their son, Lawson (JK), to attend Faith Christian School and to be surrounded by like-minded families who share their values and support one another.
Tell us about your family! What kinds of activities or hobbies do you enjoy together?
You can usually find us spending time outside playing together regardless of the season. Our oldest, Lawson (JK), keeps us very busy and loves the outdoors and "exploring." One of our favorite places to spend time is at family property in Floyd where there is nothing but room to roam! We also love to travel as a family when possible.
How did you hear about our school?
We have known about Faith Christian School through family members who have sent their children here in the past and had nothing but wonderful things to say about it! Most recently, we came to consider Faith Christian School after our own research and desire to find a school that had values that aligned with our own.
Was there anything in particular that influenced your decision to become a part of the FCS community?
Choosing faith was a very easy decision as it was the first faith-based private school we toured, and we immediately knew we had found the right fit! Our desire was to find a school where our children would be taught to think for themselves, and one that would incorporate our faith into daily learning.
What are you most excited about in beginning the school year as a part of the FCS family?
We are so excited for Lawson to attend Faith Christian School as we know we will be surrounded by like-minded families who share our values and support one another. Above all else, we feel it is truly a gift to our children to be able to send them to a school where the primary focus is the Truth of God's Word. Lawson is also very excited to make new friends and was constantly asking us when he could start!
