The Warrior Athletic Department hosted a special night of Warrior Basketball that brought together Middle School Girls and Varsity Boys games with a joyful Family Fun Night for Lower School students, complete with VIP seating, games, prizes, and special activities. More than basketball, the evening reflected true community—families fellowshipping, students making memories, and athletes serving as role models. FCS looks forward to hosting more Lower School community events and invites families to join us at future athletic events.

The Warrior Athletic Department recently hosted a special night of Warrior Basketball featuring our Middle School Girls and Varsity Boys. It offered lots of fun and games and special activities for our Lower School students! 

In planning this event for our Lower School community, Athletic Director India Delp notes, “What I see happening in the Warrior Gym on game days is way more than just athletic games. I see parents fellowshipping and laughing in the stands. I see classmates playing and enjoying snacks together from the concession stand. I see parents supporting each other’s kids and kids forming lifelong memories. I see community happening.”

Students were greeted with VIP seating for Lower School students, received Warrior bracelets, and a concession voucher.  During halftime at each game, there were fun relay games, prizes, and giveaways! A special thank you to Senior Owen Matthews for serving as our Warrior throughout the evening, engaging the fans, taking many photos with fans, and being a great role model to the younger students.  

Head of Lower School Jeremy Tipton shared, “It was wonderful to see the FCS community coming together to support our athletes, but most importantly, having the opportunity to fellowship with each other. From the parent and child halftime relay games, pictures with the Warrior Mascot, all the spirit wear, to making our extended Warrior tunnel for our athletes – we hope that you and your child were able to walk away with some fun memories.”
