In what grade did you start attending Faith Christian School?

I started attending Faith Christian School in Kindergarten.

What activities were you involved in while you were a student at Faith Christian School?

I have been involved in soccer, archery, theatre, chess club, SGA, Veritas Honor Society, Debate Club, and I served as a Project Faith Student Manager.

What might some of your favorite memories be?

I have a lot of great memories such as SGA War Night and other special events.

What is your thesis topic and why did you choose it?

My thesis is on Central Bank digital currency. I chose this topic in order to be able to study economics while at Faith Christian School and because I’m interested in the potential of digital currency technology.

How might your learning in a Christian environment at FCS positively affect you?

Christianity and the faculty at FCS have done a good job reminding me that all life’s problems are in the hand of God. This lesson has served as a reminder not to stress and worry because my hope is in God and not temporal goods.

Has there been a teacher at FCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what might you say?

There are many teachers at Faith Christian School who have had a significant impact on my life, so it would be hard to single out just one; however, several times I have been able to confide in faculty and seek them for guidance such as help for upcoming AP tests and spiritual matters.

What might it mean to you to have attended both a classical and Christian school?

Classical education has been amazing. I’ve learned so much, but more importantly, I’ve learned how to think critically about all academic subjects and Christianity.

What are some things you would like to tell younger students as they continue their education at FCS?

Don’t lose your curiosity. Classical education is all about asking, “Why?” so never stop asking questions.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I will be majoring in economics and mathematical methods in the social sciences at Northwestern University. I also hope to acquire a certificate in financial economics from the Kellogg School of Business.
