Shane and Ashley Bossard, and their children, Lincoln Bossard (3rd grade) and Reed Bossard (1st grade) share their family's story.
How long has your family been a part of our school?
We've been a part of Faith Christian School for four years.
Why did you choose FCS for your child(ren)?
We wanted them to attend a school that encouraged their love for Jesus while attaining a classical education.
What do you love most about FCS?
The staff - the ways in which they care for every student warms my heart.
What is one word that describes Faith Christian School? Tell us why you chose that word.
Partner - Faith does an excellent job of coming beside the families and partnering with them in their educational journey.
Describe one of your favorite (or your student's favorite) teachers and the impact that this teacher has had in your student's life - or perhaps a specific example of a way this teacher has cared for your student in a special way.
During a parent-teacher conference, I expressed to Mrs. McPheron that Lincoln was saying his school day was just "ok" at the beginning of the year. She asked what some of his favorite things were, and within the next week Lincoln was coming home so pumped that his teacher played football with his class during recess. From then on, Lincoln and his buddies LOVED recess!
How is FCS preparing your student(s) for God's call on their lives, including hopes, plans, and dreams for college, career, and/or community?
I love the fact that Faith focuses not only on academics but also character development and ultimately loving what God loves. This will enable my children to recognize what God has created them to do and do it for the glory of God.
What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at FCS?
Faith Christian School is so much more than just an education.
