Meet the Arner Family, Sara, Pete, and Everett (6th), who moved here from Alabama and can usually be found on some kind of field—farm or sports.
Tell us about your family! What kinds of activities or hobbies do you enjoy together?
We moved to Virginia from Alabama in June of 2021, to a small farm where we are learning to grow a lot of our own food! We spend much of our time participating in sports. Between three children playing and Pete coaching, we are often on a field or in a gym! When not at games or practices, we enjoy time outdoors and love the lake, running with our pups at Booker T. Washington, and exploring the beauty that southwest Virginia has to offer.
How did you hear about our school?
We first learned about Faith Christian School more than two years ago, before we had even moved to Virginia! In researching the area and potential schools, FCS stood out as a wonderful environment for both academic and spiritual growth.
Was there anything in particular that influenced your decision to become a part of the FCS community?
We chose Faith Christian School for many reasons. Not only were we impressed with its classical, Christian education, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace about Everett beginning middle school in this loving, nurturing community.
What are you most excited about in beginning the school year as a part of the FCS family?
We have been welcomed so warmly into the FCS family and look forward to new friendships and experiences!
