Faith Christian Schools is accredited by ACCS and has been for 3 years. Our accreditation was renewed last week.
In The News
Last week, Faith Christian passed rigorous accreditation requirements through the Association of Classical Christian Schools. FCS has been accredited for 3 years and will be reviewed again at 5 years. ACCS is approved by the state of Virginia for accreditation.
Though there are more than 300 school members in the Association of Classical & Christian Schools, a much smaller number have earned the designation of an “ACCS-accredited school.”
ACCS-accredited schools have successfully completed a thorough process involving both a self-study examination of all standards and requirements for ACCS accreditation followed by an on-site visit by a qualified and experienced accreditation committee. This committee examines the entire school organization from school board oversight to classroom pedagogy, including student participation, conduct, and development, staff training, parent-teacher relations, operational and financial policies, community support, and the overall spiritual demeanor in the school classrooms. All accredited schools undergo regular accreditation renewals typically at five-year intervals.
Specifically noted by this year's accrediting team was the quality of our faculty and staff!
