In what grade did you start attending Faith Christian School?

I have attended Faith Christian School since sixth grade.

What activities were you involved in while you were a student at Faith Christian School?

I have been involved in Veritas, Ministerium, and I served as a Project Faith Student Manager. I have played basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

What might some of your favorite memories be?

My favorite memories are from basketball. Practice was always extremely difficult and fun to play. The boys and coaches made every practice fun and worthwhile.

What is your thesis topic and why did you choose it?

My thesis is on the politics, mining, and security of outer space.  My dad helped me think through topics, and when this topic came up, it was interesting to me.

How might your learning in a Christian environment at FCS positively affect you?

The community around me has always been kind and supportive.  The environment has made me feel welcomed and loved.

Has there been a teacher at FCS that has impacted your faith, education, or personal growth in a significant way? If you were to say thank you to this person, what might you say?

Without a doubt, Mrs. Hopkins has impacted my life at school in a very significant way.  Mrs. Hopkins’ passion for the subjects she teaches and the love for her students is evident in everything she does. Mrs. Hopkins is the best of the best.

What might it mean to you to have attended both a classical and Christian school?

Through my schooling here, I have been able to study works that have stood the test of time.  At Faith, I have been taught what things are good, true, and beautiful.

What are some things you would like to tell younger students as they continue their education at FCS?

Take your time to learn and understand what is going on in each class. Also, do your homework.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I plan to attend Liberty University, possibly studying Criminal Justice.
